Explore Shandong's natural beauty, culture online
With many people stuck at home with nothing to do amid the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak, Shandong has decided to provide online tours of its scenic spots, museums and art galleries.
The Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism recently opened an online service (https://www.sdta.cn/wlzx/) featuring virtual tours of museums, libraries and scenic spots, online science, culture and history exhibitions, and lectures on traditional culture, operas and other topics.

Local authorities said that the application combines panoramas and 3D reconstruction techniques, offering visitors an immersive experience while exploring the province’s magnificent natural landscapes, long history and rich culture.
There is also an option to watch 24-hour live streams of all the province's scenic spots on high-definition real-time webcams.
