Tai'an achieves co-op with Canadian university
Tai'an, East China's Shandong province recently achieved cooperation with Canada's McGill University, focusing on medicine, education, scientific research and talent training, in an effort to improve standards in these fields.
McGill University, located in Montreal, Quebec province, plans to introduce advanced medical technology and systems, as well as medical experts to Tai'an, who will assist with the teaching of the postgraduate education courses and training programs for resident doctors in the city, and jointly conduct scientific research.
Gao Zuhua, chairman of the Department of Pathology of McGill University, was hired as the government adviser of Tai'an. He hoped that McGill and Tai'an can jointly promote the sound and rapid development of Tai'an's medical education based on the principles of equality and mutual benefits.
McGill University, founded in 1821, is the top university of Canada, having the reputation of being "Canada's Harvard".
