Lijin Museum opened to the public on Oct 26, 2011 and integrates the storage, display and exhibition of cultural relics. The museum covers an area of 14,000 square meters and its exhibition hall covers 6,410 sq m. The architecture is akin to the spread wings of a phoenix.
The museum contains six divisions, including history and culture, industrial planning, urban planning and cultural relic halls. It showcases the history, culture, economic development and blueprint of Lijin county through sculptures, sand tables, photos and videos.
The museum boasts a collection of 3,706 antiques, 100 of which are on display. It is open 36 hours per week and receives more than 3,000 monthly visitors.
